WEST CALDWELL TWP. – The ShopRite proposed for Bloomfield Avenue would have 87,650 square feet, about 75 percent more space than the current store at 540 Passaic Ave.

The new supermarket would almost double the shopping space of the current store and would have wider aisles and updated equipment. Also planned is a 2,550-square-foot atrium at the entrance, a front mezzanine covering 11,000 square feet and a rear mezzanine covering 9,000 square feet.
