There is also a carnival. The Venetian Carnival is a highlight of the year in Venice, and a perfect opportunity for couples to enjoy some of the city's greatest sights and sounds. From the elaborate costumes and masked balls, to the street performers and food stalls, the carnival is a feast for the senses.
